Specialist Periodontist

Dr. Tala Qubain is a specialist Periodontist (Gum Specialist) Dr. Tala first had an inspiration to enter the field of dentistry as a teen when she realized how much her classmates and even some of the adults she knew feared going to the dentist. She grew up in Amman-Jordan where she obtained her Bachelor degree in dentistry (B.D.S in Dentistry) from University of Jordan in 2005. She then became a member of the Jordanian Dental association. She started working in one of the prestigious private clinics in Jordan as a general dentist for almost 6 years during which she continuously sought out training and professional development opportunities that allowed her to remain aware and knowledgeable about new dental practices and the latest technology being considered or used. Dr. Tala has always had passion for studying science and dentistry. During dental school, she became fascinated by the significant connection between the whole body health and gum diseases and she quickly realized that in all of dentistry, it seemed that periodontists develop the longest and deepest relationships with their patients so she considered a specialty in Periodontology. She obtained her Master degree in Periodontology from Jordan University of Science and Technology in 2012 and has been working  as a Periodontist since then. In 2015, she moved to Abu Dhabi with her husband and had worked as a periodontist in the private sector before joining ICDE. She recently obtained her implant privilege from Health Authority of Abu Dhabi.

 

Dr. Tala feels extremely fortunate to have the opportunity to improve the periodontal health of all the patients referred to her. She cares for her patients providing prevention and treatment for gum disease by sharing her knowledge and excitement about oral health. She has specific interest in cosmetic gum treatment (including correction of gum recession and gummy smile), regenerative procedures (bone grafting surgeries) and laser treatment with the most updated technology. Besides her specialty, she has experience in general dental treatments  including fillings, root canal treatments, crowns and extractions.

 

Aside from her passion in dentistry, Dr. Tala is happily married to her husband Fares and has a beautiful daughter, Tia. In her free time, she enjoys painting with her daughter , whipping up recipes in the kitchen, swimming, jogging and she loves traveling.
