Dr. Abraham Thomas is a highly experienced orthodontist with over a decade of experience in the field. He received his Masters in Orthodontics from the College of Dental Sciences in India in 2007 and was as a consultant Orthodontist in Bangalore, India, where he treated a wide range of dental misalignments and jaw problems in both children and adults. He also served as a Professor at RGUHS University in Bangalore, India where he was involved in various orthodontic research projects and was a national-level examiner in both graduate and post-graduate dental programs. Additionally, he gained the Bi-Collegiate Membership in Orthodontics with Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow and Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2023
Throughout his career, Dr. Abraham has maintained his expertise by staying updated with current Orthodontic trends and continuously educating himself. He is a certified provider for invisible lingual braces and clear aligners and has numerous publications in peer-reviewed Orthodontic journals. He is also a member of the World Federation of Orthodontists and the Indian Orthodontic Society. Prior to joining to ICDE, Dr. Abraham had worked in other major healthcare facilities in Abu Dhabi.
Dr. Abraham’s main areas of expertise include routine orthodontic treatment, advanced self-ligation bracket systems, Orthodontic micro-implants, invisible Orthodontics, myo-functional appliances, and removable appliances. Dr. Abraham was a Key Opinion Leader for the 3M Unitek SmartClip Bracket system. He is committed to providing his patients with beautiful and healthy smiles and utilizes a combination of advanced treatment options and traditional hands-on care to meet their unique demands. In addition to speaking English, Dr. Abraham also speaks regional Indian languages and has working knowledge of Arabic. In his free time, he enjoys long drives, movies and playing badminton.
