Dr. Doaa Abukhater is passionate about staying on the leading edge of dentistry. Dr. Doaa had an early inspiration to step into the field of dentistry because of one of her childhood dentists who helped align her teeth. She realized it is a unique field where she can help people have better smiles. She is a lifelong resident of UAE, and completed her Bachelors of Dental Surgery from Sharjah University, UAE with an excellent academic standing. The aforementioned attainment led to her being chosen for an academic teaching role for two years before returning to Abu Dhabi where she was born and raised. She has also completed extensive training in all aspects of general dentistry including restorative (fillings), fixed and removable prosthesis (dental crowns and bridges), oral surgery, root canals, and cosmetics. She has over 12 years of experience in the field of treating patients of all ages for all their dental needs in private practice.
Modern dentistry is challenging as it is equipped with the latest high-tech tools. Dr. Doaa invests hundreds of hours into studies and research of modern dentistry and is diligent in her pursuit to stay up to date in order to provide the best dental care to her patients. She enjoys performing dental surgery the most and is committed to taking a thorough approach to treatment planning to maximize end results and achieve patient satisfaction.

Beyond dentistry, she reads horror novels, loves spending time with her husband and often goes ice skating and swimming.
